Hint for play with windows 11 with high performance PC
According to my search on net,seems there are 2 ways to play:
1.Turning off hyperthreading (but leaving all 14 cores active), or lowering the available cores active down to 8 in BIOS fixed the crash issue. wic.exe now runs with HT off, or with lower # of physical cores enabled. // I think it's possible to open game via CPU CORES with listed options.
2.Download patch at http://download.wicmwmod.com/support/wicdbg_gt16_core.zip ,and extract to the game folder. CAUTION:some players have reported this patch cannot use for steam version,only for ubisoft/gog version.

as for me,I can confirmed that NO.2 method is working on ubisoft version.
NO.1 method?maybe someone can try it.

Forgot to say:this works for the player can open the menu and loading game but got crash/not functioning after loading complete.

Tried the patches, tried assorted compatibility modes... took me setting windows to only have access to 4 cores in the MSConfig.. worked like a charm
