last time I played, (Long time ago) only one server and it was always full lol.

No clue as I havn't used my login in years. But the LAN works as does playing solo or coop against bots.

I heard the servers were shutdown some many years ago. I did hear theres a community which uses a client mod to reactivate it.

Local LAN is still fine and you can always play against the bots.

Yes, I played 20 minutes ago. People are still playing online but lacking in numbers, however you can "catch the moment" and play when 8+ palyers are in the room.

Played i last year and found a few servers with players.

Edit: tried playing online today and could not connect to the online servers, so it might be that the servers are shut down.

just played again on 1-2 servers, game went fine on 2 matches but lost connection on another session :-(

How did you get online? Did you use the official webpage to download the servers?

i followed the instructions on the webpage, downloaded the map pack and the wic.exe and online file and some other, my cd key from steam worked fine and i finally created an account to join the servers.
i think its okay, because my internet connection got issues, i guess i should buy an ethernet/LAN cable instead of playing with wifi/wlan.
i enjoy the singleplayer campaign for now again ^^
