Report a translation problem
The only ones who had narrative coherence were Wick, Jimmy and Bodhi.
It's a shame the characters themselves are locked for them, but a bigger shame that all their heists and weapons are locked. It's a pretty decent chunk of the game that they can't access, especially when some of the heists are quite enjoyable, and don't even have reference to the IP.
Like Birth of the Sky; only real reference is Sky Diving and Bodhi's love of extreme sports, but that's vague enough to ignore.

Old (original) PvE maps were extremely well designed, fun to play, and very fast to complete (e.g. grind-friendly), whereas the newer ones are ... well, let's say they exist.
And you can say the same with TV/streaming shows as well.
Usually, s01-s02 are peak content, and then (after their creators burn off) it's just ... endless filler.
