the first line in the game has an obvious typo, that about sums up the quality you're getting here.

My only reason for the thumb up is that compared to Ever 17, this Never 7 is true to its original without nonsense change of plot.

Otherwise, DON'T BUY! Very little polish can be seen in this release for this much of price. The horrible upscaling ruins the opening movie, which is one of my all-time favourite.

I truly love this game and the fact it is refreshed. But the quality is disappointing.

I cannot recommend the game in its current state.

This game, like many other Spike Chunsoft/MAGES games is plagued by typos, spelling errors, grammatical issues and stilted dialogue. Its downright insulting that they release their products in the state that they do and then charge a premium for them. I could forgive them if they actually released patches to fix any issues that pop up, but they dump and run forcing you to either put up with an incredibly subpar localization or hope somebody decides to take it upon themselves and put out unofficial patches to correct the many errors that plague this game.

Unfortunately, on top of the many issues caused via the poor quality of the translation you also have incredibly compressed and low quality voice lines which I found so irritating to listen to that I ended up muting everything just to spare my ears.

This game and its sequel deserved so much better than what it got.

But, hey, at least the music slaps?
