Please make a "Survivors-Like" game with your Defender's Quest assets

Hello, if you are all still around I think you'd really have the talent to step into the current genre trend of games like Vampire Survivors, which your game could be adapted to from a tower defense fairly easily.

The main guy has been working on Defender's Quest 2 for 10+ years, and has produced little to nothing on it. He even took pre-orders for it.

So your chances of getting an entirely different game in an entirely different genre are slim to none. In fact, I'd say a snowball as a better chance of existing in hell.

If I remember right, the developer took some time off from developing the game to do some work for Valve to bring in some necessary money, creating discoverability tools for the store. So that added some delays.

The game should have been out in 2023 ideally, but additional complications came about that resulted in the developer having to step back and let his publisher finish the ending of the game for him. You can read about that here, if you're curious. https://www.fortressofdoors.com/i-lost-my-son/

Holy heavens! That's terrible! It's hard to hear such a bad news. I always respected Lars' work and he is always a level-headed guy to read from. Live does really deal unfair punishments on people.
