Lets help and not love box, bugs and how in theory they can fix them
Ok, given the devs actually tried to communicate, and seem to actually want to save the game it made me neurons fire on the one bug.
I had had the bug where the character just got trapped in unloading the bag. I believe that was occurring in retrospect, because the twigs took out all storage boxes. Still a nightmare where you couldn't get him to stop that function even with trying to remove the bag . So to solve perhaps code a if boxes full ignore bag? Another solution imo would be for starting items like twigs the boxes allow for unlimited storage. I know the new trend in gaming is have a device for every small thing, and our games littered with boxes everywhere. Though I am very, very good at box management viva la dirt did a very funny skit on it I'd like to not have to embrace my ocd management of a box in a game. That was the person you give the bag to doesn't get stuck in a I have these twigs, but no space lock.
The other dead wandering I think is due to exhaustion/ revolt mechanic, which I know if we bothered to read fully we would probably put 2 and 2 together, but even with reading their stopping not evident that is the reason. Add thought clouds over their heads, and a quick reference this is what their complaint is? I made lunch boxes , but not sure if you need to remove them and slap the bentos in a box, which if boxes already filled by the time you get to that point your people just can't get food? it seems... ? So I guess make the steps for feeding the plebs more evident. I wasn't even sure the thing they needed to click on to make the boxes until I systematically clicked on everything.
Maybe, I am just stupid, but well I have been gaming basically 8 +hours a day since I was very little and I'm an old fart now, so normally I can sort pretty much any game I touch by picking it up pretty easily.
Solution when you are given quests like that one highlight and pan the camera to the thing you need to make it on. Again if first item for feeding thee peasants let the storage box be infinite. Others can have caps, or maybe a future brutal mode, but majority of us are likely playing for some light management, and/or story.
Also, just from a design aspect what psychopath thought it was a good idea to have the kitchen in the basement and the required use an elevator to drop off food? Maybe, if there was a conveyor system you could connect to the dinning room, but given you can build the dinning room anywhere this is just painful:*(
This just a random general complaint about devs and the industry. Stop relying on random influencers to play-test your games. They only love bomb your games, which don't improve the games for consumers, Consider it at best a marketing path, but only that. Remember you likely hand selected them, and you'll know the feed back/ sales pitch returned. I like Sharky I think that is the youtubers name, but his plays are not at all constructive for development teams. Never have I seen him even mention a bug. It is always this is awesome! Josh's streams better, but still mostly overly positive imo. The industry needs a prick perfectionist to balance this love boxing review/ testing approach, or better go back to properly game testing, which if done this would have saved y'all, a lot . ooo and be equally if not more concerned about programmers as you are art team. If the muppet tried to use chatgpt don't hire them. If they even mention ai don't hire them unless it is with the reflection of it is at best a slightly better search option, and can pull up templets.
Last thing not just for you guys, and again this bit general. Stop trying to get feedback on discord. Only children play there, and again the feed back if only relying on that spot is only going to limit your knowledge. You folks seems to not fall into that trap and read our comments, etc... Next, week I'll play more and hopefully can track your bugs better and give what i think would be solutions.
