This exact same thing happened to me! I encountered a bug, quick saved and exited thinking that a restart would help and NOPE! IT permalocked me out of my save file!

Same here. Played until day 6, can't load game anymore. Cursor moves around just fine, music continues playing in the background, but image is stuck on the loading screen.

I tested and I can start a new game, save it immediately, exit, and THAT one loads up just fine but I didn't test past the first day.

Same Issue here. Got to day 7, couldn't make rations, saved to restart, the entire playthrough won't load now.

Same bug first playthrough got to day 6 second day 7 now im stuck at day 2

Same, I have sent a save game with this.

For me I think it may be related to a person dinning, got order, ate and then walked around. I saved and loaded to clear the stuck full order icon above the quests head. But then no longer loading.
