Howe to mine sandrock

Can anyone tell me how to mine sandrock? I have made one of every type of pickaxe but nobody will mine it. I cannot complete the first aid clinic quest without glass which needs sandrock. Thanks!

You should be able to mine it with an Iron or Steel pickaxe, but they need to be equipped on a worker for them to pick up the task.

Thanks Antek, I have it equipped on a worker, but they are not mining. I have picked them up and dropped them at the rock, and also marked the task high priority, but nothing.

Just an update. This is weird but I marked some other lumps of sandrock and he mined one of them! Strange, but at least I have the sandrock now :)

There is one sandrock at least that is out of bound for the workers.

because one of sandrock (and some items) stay/drop behind invisibel wall(or walkpath) and they cannot reach them
