This is a common bug to treat by saving an earlier save of the game, maybe 2-5 days ago even.

The same thing is happening to me.
I have multiple save files, so even if I start over from those, the game freezes on the loading screen with the new save file.

I had the same issue and found that it was caused by unlocking the watering can before the talking plant gives me one. The moment she gives me the blueprint there's a notification about it but it leads nowhere and I can't load saves. I replayed the game from before I unlocked the watering can (Farming 101) and it worked fine.

Same here too, I checked the recommended specs for computer and all that and apart from my graphics card everything else checks out. Also even while i play there is some serious lag

I'm on Day 38 in story mode and now I'm getting stuck on the loading screen. Which I mean, I had two rooms stuck being demolished, a quest character stuck in the elevator shaft and the eternal laundry bug

I can hear the game sounds, but the loading screen is stuck.

I'm on day 21 and it started lagging so I had to exit and come back. After doing so I'm now stuck on the loading
