I am happy to announce that Patch 0.23 is now available to all players. This patch is one of the biggest: a new civilization, a holiday event, significant player trade expansion, plus new achievements - it has stuff for everyone!

Also, before the patch notes, I'd like to address an often asked question. As you probably know, I have started to work on Spaceship Idle, a spiritual successor to this game. However, that doesn't mean I am done with CivIdle, not yet at least. I still have some ideas for content that I'd like to bring to the game. And I have been backporting lots of the design I have for Spaceship Idle to CivIdle (trade diplomacy being one of them).

As I am the only developer and only working on my free time, I have extremely limited resources - and I need to spend it wisely. I plan to make a playable build of Spaceship Idle soon-ish, therefore, Patch 0.24 will take longer than usual, most likely after the alpha test of Spaceship Idle. The alpha test of Spaceship Idle will be announced in our Discord Server[discord.gg] and will first open for experienced players of CivIdle and Industry Idle. If you are interested, hop onto our server and watch for the announcement. And if alpha test is not for you, you can always wishlist it on Steam to get notified when the game is available.

• Louvre: For every 10 Extra Great People at Rebirth, one great person from all unlocked ages is born
  
• Centre Pompidou: Once constructed, all buildings get +1 Production and +2 Storage Multiplier. The wonder will persist if the current run reaches Information Age and the next run is a different civilization. The wonder gets +1 level at rebirth for each run that reaches Information Age with a unique civilization. Each level provides +1 Production and +2 Storage Multiplier. The value of this wonder is excluded from total empire value and British Museum cannot transform into this wonder
  
• Mont Saint-Michel: Generate Culture from Idle Workers. Provide +1 Storage Multiplier to all buildings within 2-tile range. This wonder can be upgraded using the generated Culture and each level provides addtional +1 Storage Multiplier
  
• Arc de Triomphe: Every 1 happiness (capped) provides +1 builder capacity to all buildings

• Dune of Pilat: In each age, double the age wisdom for the previous age

• Bastille Day: Double the effect of Centre Pompidou and Arc de Triomphe. Double the Culture generation from Mont Saint-Michel

• Voltaire: +2 Production Multiplier, Storage Multiplier for Museum

• Easter Bunny: Once constructed, 10% of the extra Great People at Rebirth from this run will carry forward to the next run and are born after building the Easter Bunny in the new run. This wonder can only be constructed during April

• Account with higher ranks can occupy more tiles adjacent to the home tile (1 extra tile for Quaestor, 2 for Aedile, 3 for Praetor and 4 for Consul)
  
• Each trade tile will provides +5 Production Multiplier to a certain building and will be shuffled every week

In addition to the above, I have also made a proposal to the community to further expand this into a "trade diplomacy" system:

• Occupying a tile for 24h generates 0.2 army. Your own tile always generates 1 army for 24h
  
• Each army can be used to occupy an empty adjacent tile, or defend an existing tile
  
• If a tile is empty, it can be occupied with 1 army. If a tile is occupied by another player, it can be occupied with X+1 army, X = current army defending this tile
  
• A player's home tile cannot be occupied, and all occupied tiles will be emptied if a player rebirth or move to a new tile

• A bonus pool of GPs will be divided among players according to the tiles occupied at the end of the week, before the tile bonus is reshuffled

• Apprentice: Rebirth with at least 100 Extra Great Person
