More information about this character posted down below. Snake Plissken, and his original source media material, the John Carpenter films Escape From New York and Escape From L.A. Snake Plissken, also inspired Big Boss and all of the Jack clones, including all of the Snakes and Raiden. This character also influenced Snake JailBird from The Simpsons, along with Hoss Delgado from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, who also takes influence from Ash Williams from Army of Darkness and the Evil Dead film franchise. I'm actually very much quite surprised that nobody else has pointed any of these references out: (By the way, I still currently don't own a licensed copy of this game for myself yet right now, so I haven't tried it out and played it for myself, but I would most definitely love to do so:
