just hit cancel when that popup comes up, and it wont open your internet browser. not sure why it keeps popping up constantly, but you dont have to actually view/accept anything.

That works, thanks! wasn't a MASSIVE problem.. just mildly annoying, but thanks for the tip, appreciate it :D

i think it's just a display error. it happens because the game failed to connect to the server. if you just cancel and try again, it might take a few tries, but eventually connects.
they should change the message to just say it failed to connect and stop trying to redirect you to the privacy policy. . but the won't, lol(?)

it's probably because squix is spending minimal money to maintain the servers.. .i wouldn't be surprised if they shut them down a couple years from now

uh if you click cancel, it acts as if you disagreed and therefore can not open the chest.

I know this is old, but I just googled this and it brought me here and it did not allow me to open the chest by cancelling so yeah , just thought I would put this up here for any one else finding themselves to this thread.

That was never the issue though, I accepted them, but it kept popping up, every, single, time.

yeah, hitting cancel "cancels" the action, then you just try again and again and again and eventually it works. just keep canceling and trying again. that's how i got it to work, anyway.
and maybe they already did shut down the servers. . .i dunno. it's been 6 months.
