Fixes for GFWL and other issues.
If the game doesn't run due to GFWL issues or you're having other problems see this guide.

Also downloading this and putting it in the same directory as the games .exe should work as well.

Neither of these fixes are officially approved by Capcom,
But they most importantly will allow you to boot the game and DO NOT contain viruses etc..

If anyone wants to still use GFWL which is still working just fine, you can check out my guide below. It's worth considering over a crack or community patch for 1 game if you have multiple GFWL games. Once you get GFWL working for 1 game on your PC, those issues are fixed for any other GFWL game you play in the future on that PC.

I'm not an admin in that forum and I honestly have no idea who has Admin rights there.

That is my aim here.
The amount of threads here complaining about GFWL needed to be addressed.
Hoping this thread does just that.

What is the point of this post? Didn't they strip the GFWL out of the Steam version YEARS ago? All GFWL elements have been stripped from the game and now supports Steamworks for multiplayer and achievements etc...

Last game update was at 2015.

Last game update was at 2015.

I see. My confusion is if you had the base game + the DLC, you automatically got upgraded to the gold edition that removed GFWL and added steamworks. If you only had the base game, you still have the GFWL version. I thought everyone was moved to the new version.
