G-pull

Coming from VTOL VR, so I may be understanding the g-pull a bit different than it actually should work, but here I just cant seem to G-pull any missile. IR missiles are very maneuverable, so yes, I dont even try to G-pull them, but shouldn't I be able to outmaneuver SAHR and AHRs reliably? Used that tactic *a lot* in VTOL, but here its like I'm back in kindergarden with no skill to my name....

All vehicles are unlocked and included in the base game, so no grind or crazy DLC, more in-depth than War Thunder but not as complicated as DCS. Overall a really fun game that strikes a perfect balance between fun and realistic. None of the vehicles are real, and all seem pretty realistic for things we could invent in the near future. They are all extremely well-modeled and feel unique to fly, each with its own niche to fill. It's definitely my favorite combat flight sim right now, and the only thing holding it back is only two maps and 9 aircraft, but the devs are amazing, and a major update containing a new fully modeled and fully usable aircraft every couple of months. The devs are extremely transparent, regularly posting dev blogs showing their progress towards the next aircraft and will stream on Discord showing them working on the next update. Extremely good game for only being $18 and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys combat flight sims.

Why bother?

I'm a new player, and trying to learn things. But I'm playing the EW-25 and this is just a straight up useless plane. The SECOND the enemy sees me, they fire SARHs at me. And even when they're launched from 40km away, and I'm holding the laser firing at them the ENTIRE TIME, not a single SARH is destroyed before they reach me and blow me up. So this laser is straight up useless. If it can't even work for self protection, there's no way its working at all to destroy missiles shot at anyone else. So then I...
