Jesus was a Muslim
Please don't deify a man who worshiped God just like every other human. He never claimed Godhood, rather he was a Prophet and a Messenger.
He called "The Father" by the name "Alaha", same word as Allah but in Aramaic.
He prostrated with his face on the ground just like Muslims do.

This post isn't to antagonize anyone. I'm simply sharing what I know is right. Do your own research. If you disagree, then keep it civil.

If you were God, wouldn't you make it clear with your followers and all those that come after that you are indeed God?
As for the forgiveness part - a Messenger of God has a direct connection with God, he can request for someone's forgiveness, just like Prophet Muhammad PBUH also said that he will intercede for the believers during the day of Judgement so that they can enter Paradise.
Also, there's obvious codex issues that I believe were revisions and rewritings of the Bible to suit a certain agenda.

Islam in Arabic means to "Submit to the will of God". A Muslim is the person who submits to the will of God. That's why we believe Moses / Abraham / Adam / Angels are all Muslims.
Satan and humans who chooses not to submit to God are non-Muslims.
Words have meanings you know, and these meanings are not bound by time.

Christ made it clear who he was. The title "son of god" means to be equal to god. He said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him." All of his apostles witnessed his resurrected body. They spread the word of his divinity. I think that it is crystal clear to Christ's followers who he is.

The Prophets, The Saints and the Theotokos are these interceders you speak of. They are part of christ's divine council. Christ will be the ultimate judge, as it's said in revelations.

I don't think I can take the issues that you have with the bible seriously as it is clear you have an agenda of your own you wish to promote. Also being both vague and inflammatory is not a helpful combination.

Considering Islam was founded on the teaching of the prophet Muhammad who wouldnt have been born yet, youre completely incorrect.

What's interesting is that we don't know much about his religious beliefs. He goes from being a child to an adult almost immediately with no stories about what happened in between and very little about his personal life.

Going from the stories, he would have been raised Jewish, but it seems like he would have been branded as a heretic at an early age when he started arguing with the leaders in his church.

He might have been part of what they considered a cult at that time, since we know those existed because that's where Constantine drew from to create Rome's version of Christianity, but he certainly was not Muslim; for reasons people have already pointed out.
Jesus was a carpenter. He made wooden furniture, wheels, carts, etc. Back then this was grueling work, since carpenters usually cut their own wood, transported it themselves to their workplace.
And again - Muslim means someone who submits their will to God in the Arabic language. So in Islamic viewpoint - Jesus was a Muslim because he submitted his will to God and did not claim divinity.

He did claim divinity. That is why he was sentenced to death.

i think the phrase "religious beliefs" is way too modern to fit this topic. putting aside the nature of Christ himself, everyone of the Jewish people of first century Israel would have agreed on how they viewed the world and the tenets of their beliefs (if for no other reason then to differentiate themselves from Rome). we do read that Christ started teaching at the temple at Jerusalem when he was 12 years old, seemingly spontaneously.

I think it's safe to say that during the three and a half years of his preaching he was considered to be a holy man and maybe following the path of prophets like Jeremiah. while he could be confrontational and controversial i don't think he was considered a heretic until the Pharisees took his miracles and claims to be threatening to their authority. (obviously this is WAY oversimplified)

At the time of Constantine Christianity was in communion everywhere it was practiced. in other words there was only one church. and Constantine's conversion and ascension to becoming the emperor meant that Christianity no longer had to be an underground practice hiding from the public. Rome was converted into the first christian empire with Constantinople being the first city built from the ground up as a christian city.
If you read the Bible then it's obvious Jesus wasn't a Muslim. Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead. That's what is written in the Bible.

Jesus warned us that there will be many false Christ's. When I read the OP talking about the religion of the prophet, I am reminded of what Jesus said in the Bible:

At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

I'm not playing games with any Muslim Jesus. That's a fake Jesus, OP.

That's exactly what Muhammad PBUH taught as well that there will be numerous false prophets and messiahs. And Muhammad NEVER claimed to be the messiah, he said that Jesus is the messiah and he will return one day and rule as king of the world. Muhammad also told his followers to never worship him in any way whatsoever.
Jesus in Islam is the messiah / christ, only difference is that he's a prophet and a human, not a divine being.
