Bionic Commando

Bionic Commando

Can't throw properly glitch?
I try to throw the block on the tutorial but when I try to throw it, the block goes back to where it was placed and doesn't go to where I want it to go. Is there any type of fix or is it just my game?

I had the same problem. Also, there are other game physics that doesn't work in the game. When you zip kick the Bio Mechs, you can get stuck in them. Sometimes when you zip on to a wall, you get stuck in the wall and have to reload the last save. I played this game on my Xbox 360 when it first came out and it worked without any problems, so there must be something with this PC port that are messing things up.

Indeed the game's physics are somewhat broken. The original PC release of this game was working fine. I guess there isn't any patches or workarounds, I didn't find any.

Yea just did the tutorial and it's broken to hell

I've since fixed most if not all issues I've had with the game. If you're still interested in playing this game let me know!

This might be a bit late, but if you're running at over 60 frames per second the physics go super wonksome. Try setting the resolution to one that's only 60hz with vsync, or capping the framerate in your graphics card control panel.
yep, capping frame rate on your monitor's framerate works absolutely fine.
Go to NVidia Control Panel, Find Bionic commando in a list of applications and then choose "max frame rate", since my monitor works on 60hz i put 60 FPS as a max.

Hope this helps!
Hm... That's strange, guys, but I've played this game at 165fps just fine, without any issues whatsoever.
PC Gaming Wiki also doesn't have any mentions about physics issues, let alone them tied to framerate.

Necroing this thread to add that, in fact, this issue is happening to me and no solution has worked; capping the framerate, capping the monitor itself, all useless as I keep getting randomly stuck, forcing me to reload the save. Grappling a Biomech always results in getting stuck as well.
Last post unless something breaks: AMD chill was the solution, no other framerate limiter actually fixed the issue. Within Adrenalin, go into the "gaming" tab and select Bionic Commando, once inside the game, activate Radeon Chill with a "60 fps min" and "60 fps max".

Configuring framerate limits for the displays themselves did not work for me. Neither did Rivatuner.
