The control is weird. There's only 3 buttons: left (left arrow, or A), right (right arrow, or D), and jump (space, no up arrow).

The premise of the game is that each time you make a jump, you alter the platform by turning some safe ground into spikes, and vice versa.

But the jump button is not only used for a jump. There's rope that you can climb to gain altitude without altering the safeness of the ground. How to climb up the rope? Well, you hold that "jump" button while standing near the rope. (And no, you can't climb down the rope, you can only let go.)

That's a weird design choice. Why not do the conventional movement like other platforming games: use up and down arrow for climbing the rope? --- This also have benefit of letting player stop somewhere on the rope, thinking about how to tackle the rest of the puzzle. But no, the game wants you to figure everything out before performing any action.

This design choice might still feels acceptable to some extent. Here's a catch: there's some level that you need to press and hold that jump button to perform a jump, grab a rope mid-air (while still hold down that jump button), let go of this rope and grab another. All of this without lifting the jump button.

That's not quite spell "fun" in terms of puzzle solving for me. It's more platforming-oriented: you have figured out the whole puzzle in your head already, but need to perform tricky maneuver in order to make the game recognize your solution.

Hard pass for me.

P.S. Strongly note that you can't customize the buttons. Plus that the ENTER bring up pause menu, while ESC do resizing window...
