Unable to click UI elements with mouse in the main menu

I can't seem to navigate the main menu/option screens properly with my mouse making accessing the other options tabs impossible and unfortunate as the game is displaying the run resolution for my monitor. My system cursor displays but is unable to proceed in any of the menus, arrow keys work but there doesn't seem to be a key for switch options menu tabs from what I could find. I run a very minimal system and tried turning off discord and RTSS to see if that was interfering somehow but to no avail, any help from anyone that experiencing this issue (was able to find one in searching these forums) would be greatly appreciated. If needed here are my system specs: Windows 11 Pro, RTX 3080 Ti, i7-11700KF, 32GBs of RAM, NVMe SSD (everything is on the latest updates and drivers.) Thanks.

For further data, what resolution is your machine? Have you tried running the game in windowed mode?

Awesome thanks for responding so quick, my target resolution is 2560x1440 as it's my native resolution the game is running on something lower though and I am unable to switch to windowed mode since I cannot reach the graphics options.
