Here it is, the famous patch 0.4 !

To celebreate that, the game will be 20% off from March 13 11am PDT to March 23 10am PDT. A good opportunity to initiate yourself or a friend to the mass destruction of pigeons and save your roof of your house.

I'm going to repeat myself from the beta post but I might as well rewrite our philosophy behind this patch and the changes:

First and foremost, we are introducing a brand new item family: summoning! You will now be able to summon powerful cats, totems and living dead pigeons to fight alongside you in battle.

In addition we're adding over 50 new items to the game, giving players even more options for customizing their playstyle. Additionally, we're introducing 7 new bosses for you to battle, each with their own unique mechanics and challenges.

We've also redesigned the beginning of the game, with over 50+ objectives to complete in order to build up your arsenal and prepare yourself for the challenges ahead. This should make for a much more engaging and rewarding early game experience.

On top of all that, we're also rolling out a big graphical and sound update to enhance the overall immersion of the game. And for our French players, we've added translations to help make the game more accessible. You can also upload a community translation into Steam Workshop.

But above all, we thank you for still being here, for your feedback and your ideas that allow us to improve the game since its release in early access!


The game includes a brand new progression system. This system gives you objectives and gameplay directions, while allowing you to unlock new artifacts and expand your arsenal! There are a total of about 35 new objectives. You can find them all in the unlockable part.

The French translation is officially included in the game. Moreover, you can find in the forum a tutorial to make your own translations and then send them to the workshop

• Lightmancer : Create small random areas around the player. The zones explode after a certain time.
  
• Volcanomancer : Create medium random areas around the boss. The zones explode after a certain time.
  
• Doomancer : Create a huge zone at the foot of the player. The zones explode after a certain time.
  
• Geomancer : Create a zone around the player, which explodes into several small zones around the first point of impact. The zones explode after a certain time.
  
• Magician : Create a zone at the player's feet. The zone chases the player when he runs away. The zone explodes after a certain time.
  
• Pyromancer : Create a multitude of small zones, one after the other, at the player's feet. The zones explode after a certain time.

• Life Totem : You summon a totem at your feet when you level up. This totem increases your physical and magical damage and your shooting speed. The effect of the aura of the totem is reinforced by the power of summoning.

• Defensive Drone Mark I : Deploys a drone that orbits very slowly around the player and can block the shots of the pigeons. The speed is based on the speed of the summons.
  
• Agressive Drone Mark I : Deploys a drone that orbits around an enemy and inflicts damage to the enemies it passes through. The speed is based on the summoner's casting speed and the damage on the summoner's damage.
  
• Sniper Drone Mark I : Deploys a drone that orbits around the player and shoots at enemies. Shootspeed is based on the summoner's casting speed and damage on the summoner's damage and bullet damage.
  
• Radio Tower : You set up a radio tower to encourage your invocations.
  
• Quignon : Every 40 seconds, you throw a piece of bread to the pigeons, attracting them.

Exiting the game give dusts.
Skipping a level give 100 dusts.

Post to talk about the next (big) patch : 0.4

As we announced earlier, the next patch will contain a lot of content:

To start with, a tour of the new bosses. There will be 7 new bosses in the patch with the theme of ground areas. Small ones, big ones, the ones that move, the one next to you, the one that chases you and so on...
It brings a new richness to the game, avoiding to stay with static builds and it brings new things to dodge.

Then, for the items ! Lots of new things : icons, new family, new items, ...
So, for the new family, it's about the summons! There are several "sub-families": totems, cat, drones. Here is, for example, one of the cats:

We can't wait to show you the 50+ new items and variants/upgrades
And as you can see in the image, there is another new feature, new icons:

And finally, there will be a new progression system in the game. The goal is to diversify the objectives. With all this, a new player will not only have the objective of surviving 20 minutes to unlock a new curse, but he will have other objectives, annexes, to help him progress by unlocking new items and improvements.

I hope that all of this makes you as excited as we are. The update will take some time as it has a lot of content but it will come soon :)

To celebrate the end of this year and the beginning of the new one, the pigeons, despite the fact that they are evil beings, have dressed a little hat for the occasion.

For us, the end of the year was marked by the release of Don't Shit On My #!$@& Roof and the very good reception you gave to the game.

We hope to be able to reach our goals on this game soon enough and offer you a better experience with time and even more diversified.

As we said before, the next update is in production BUT it will be a little bit more substantial than the others. We want to make the game more attractive to new players and more streamable. And for that we need a little more time. It should be released at the end of January, beginning of February with as planned content: 5 bosses, a new family of items, a reworked objective and progression system and more graphics.

EA 0.3 : Tainted Update

The items now all have tags. This allows to guide the player in his builds, and to create families of artifacts.
New Artifact Family - Tainted : These are tainted artifacts. They will increase your stats but will also bring a bonus to the pigeon.

• Double Trouble - When a boss should appear, make an extra one appear.
  
• Forbidden Tome - Increases experience gains of the player by 20%. Reduces the spawn rate of all the pigeons by 5%.
  
• The Call - Increases damage of bullets by 10%. Increases magic damage by 10%. Start a boss fight.
  
• Slow Learner - Reduces the speed at which time passes by 5%. Reduces the experience multiplier by 10%.
  
• Fast Learner - Increase the experience multiplier by 10%. Increase the speed at which time passes by[ 5%.
  
• The Daltons - Increase rate of fire of bullets by 30%. Increase gunner spawn rate by 15%.
  
• Power Shift - Increases the experience drop rate of pigeons by 50%. Increases the spawnrate of all pigeons by 20%. Reduces the bounce of ALL magic artifacts by 1. Reduces bullet piercing by 1.
  
• Temporal Rift - Increase rate of fire by 30%. Decrease ALL pigeons spawn rate by 15%.
  
• Inner Fire - Increases damage, duration and tick of damage of firezone by 20%. Increases the base life of all pigeons by 20%.

New Artifact - Chronomancer - Every second, you have 1% chance to trigger all your artifact.

New Mode - Endless Mode - Survive as long as possible (often, this will be when your game is at 2 FPS)

Balance - Change Curse 10 by Remove One Choice. Change Curse 5 by boss life increase by 80%
Balance - Remove Upgrade 5 from boss pool. Now they will appear when you unlock every other upgrade for that artifact
Balance - Mini Magic Gun Nerf : now reduce magic damage by 60%

Rework - Faster to level up at the beginning and more pigeons. So you can blow up pigeons faster.

Music - Addition of a music (for the moment unique) on the maps in game. Enjoy.

So, first of all, 0.3 will be released this Thursday, December 15.

Second, the next update is already in production :

• Summoning : Objects that are based around invocations that attack or buff the player
  
• A new "progression" system: today, we are not satisfied with the progression system. We want to bring the player more unlockables. The goal is to have a small pool of items at the beginning and to expand it, in parallel with the dust system.
  
• And again and again a graphical update.

We continue to develop the game, hoping to enrich it and bring a more and more qualitative experience.
