I'm interesting in playing this game but given that it seem like the online player base is extremely small I don't want to spend the money on it. I think if you temporarily made the game free (for a day to a week) you could get a large player base which would then lead people to buy the game. As it is now I can't imagine new people buying it if they know there is no one to play with.
