Open your Task Manager and end the EA Background Service Process, then launch the game. It does the same thing for me.

It's a problem with the new EA Anti Cheat update, are you getting a blue screen that causes your PC to restart? I've been having that issue only for the past 12 hours since the update.

I think his problem is he's clicking on the game in either Steam or a shortcut and it's saying "preparing game" then it just stops and never launches. The fix for that, if that is the problem is what I said before: Open your Task Manager and end the EA Background Service Process, then launch the game. It does the same thing for me.

The problem became so regular that I do it before I even attempt to launch the game, so I know it will launch on the first try after.

I'm having the same issue and I have tried every possible way to fix it that I have found and not a single one has worked for me.

I've tried everything, EA just can't get anything right.

Won't launch for me either. I get an error message about "an error on our end" and the game won't start. What a disgrace. The NFL needs to open the license up.

Started crashing on me about 5 days ago. I contacted EA chat help and they said the team is aware of the problem, but there's no ETA on a fix. They also said that since it's a wider spread issue that they'd expect a quick turnaround, but apparently that's not the case

Same issue here. Doesn't load the game after ending the EA background services.

My issue is when I try to play superstar mode or play a game I get a Direct X error. Just reinstalled to play after the draft. Guess that ain't happening :/

Yeah fr. I cant get this game to launch either. i get to the loading menu and then it closes itself and opens up the ea app
