Once Human

Once Human

once human and cheating and lazy devs
i want to say good game man i had a lot of fun

than i tried pvp and noticed that game is full with cheater, in evry bigger pvp fight in evry fortress fight in evry prismverse event there is a cheater! i made some research its a cheap program which reduces recoil and serves as an aimbot. i noticed one cheater and reported him 20times+ theres not a single reaction from the devs nothing! thoose reports are totaly useless even when the cheater is not even hiding his cheats, the devs simple give a ♥♥♥♥! so my question why is a mobile version for example developed while the maingame is in such a horribel condition?
wouldnt it be better to add a simple anti cheat or react to the tickets of players who play and pay for ure ♥♥♥♥♥ game? cheating is so common and unpunished man! its a joke!!

makes me sad that a good game dies like this cause the devs have dollar signs in the eyes and no interest for fairness in their game!!

edit : i warn evry new player with a bit interest in pvp!! dont touch that game its full of cheater!!
I agree this is a huge problem with many modern games (including this one), but it does look like they are trying. Please do be patient and realize that the devs just look overwhelmed by this. The idea of ban-waves aren't ideal in the short run, but is much more effective long-term. Making a log of cheaters over time and banning them all at once will make it harder for cheaters to understand how they were caught. If you ban them as soon as you catch them, then it becomes easier to work around the devs efforts. Huge problem with games like this, and it really does ruin gameplay, but try giving the devs some credit for their efforts.

This.

Also, the devs publish lists of folks they've banned and a generic reason why. It's usually overflowing with folks using unauthorized third-party software. As DekuTree said, online games ban people in waves unless the transgression is particularly egregious.

Just because a GM doesn't appear in front of you, salute and shake your hand while setting the cheating player's character on fire doesn't mean they aren't doing anything at all. The crappy thing is that unlike most games, you don't get a fresh set of opponents regularly, so it's definitely frustrating to see the same ones over and over.
They should use VAC , its free and easy to implement and anyone who has a VAC ban already in any game should be blocked, this would help a bit at least getting rid of 50% of the cheat users
VAC has its own issues. They're also already using ACE, they can't run both. Since the game is intended to run outside of Steam as well, they'd have to use both VAC and ACE depending on the client, which would be an unnecessary amount of development and administrative overhead. Not to mention behavioral consistencies between the different clients.

For now, they'll just have to do what they gotta do and we'll have to just live with it.

Or not.
