Thanks for the report. I will look into it. I guess it has something to do how Black Holes are viewed by Game Manager.
Ok, I'll look into it.
That's an interesting one. I have not thought about integer overflows, since I was not prepared for someone surviving that long.
I will look into it and also I think I need to create something to make endless mode a bit more challenging.
If I may offer a suggestion to make endless mode more challenging, instead of having the challenge level increase linearly, why not make it increase as a function of enemy level? Start by increasing by 1 each round, then by level 100 it's increasing by 10 each round or something like that.
Good suggestion actually. I didn't wanted to make the rise of levels too steep, but I think this might be the best solution for now.
I thought that I had fixed this issue. In earlier versions the maximal size was 2.3 until that happened. I'll test with 8.1
Oh that's not good. Do you play on a 16:9 screen and in fullscreen? If you are not on a 16:9 screen please try windowed mode.
And tell me your screen size so I can investigate the issue.
Playing endless mode, on level 281, got the "double all stats and level up no more" upgrade. Now every time I shoot, the game increases it's ram usage by about 10-100mb and does not release it unless you tab out for a bit and then it might decrease it by a bit, or a lot. It's kinda all very random, except for the fact that it increases every time I shoot and doesn't when I don't.
Stats:
Projectiles: 32
Damage: 686
Ball size: 0.5
Splitting projectiles:
Chance of splitting: 200%
Amount of splitting projectiles: 12
Lifetime of splitting projectiles: 69.6003 (the weird decimal happened at around lifetime amount 25 fwiw)
Shotgun:
Chance for Shotgun: 200%
Amount of shotgun shot: 90
Gold Tiles:
Chance for gold tiles: 200%
Gold Tile XP modifier: 520%
Yeah, it's very laggy lmao, goes down to 3fps every time I shoot aha. Managed to get it up to around 5.5GB being used actively, and then it went back down. However it's overall currently using around 10GB of memory total, and that isn't going down.
EDIT: Continued playing, got to level 400. By then it was eating 21gb and starting to slow down the rest of my system lol
