Words literally cannot describe how good this game is; all I have to say is that it truly is a masterpiece that was way ahead of its time and has the craziest plot twist/ending I've ever seen in a video game. Please give this game a shot; you won't regret it.

Wow! The story of this game had me at the edge of my seat!!! I cannot wait to see what happens in the next game, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, especially after this games epilogue!!!

WOW where to begin... This game is imo a HUGE improvement to the MG/S gameplay and narrative. The story from the tanker onwards is so captivating, it fully held my attention and kept me guessing. Some guesses were right while others were misdirected which made for a very engaging experience. I immediately felt so much more into the gameplay itself. Far easier to play this one and get better at it than MGS1. I always felt like I was improving. The narrative didn't fully go where I was hoping it would however still the most fun and well rounded so far. Lots of twists and turns and I cant wait to see what I get into with the next game! I would have to rate this game a SOLID 8/10 as it only is an improvement in every way.

IDK how they fumbled the bag this hard. I'm on Linux Mint 21.3... it's been a year since this game dropped bro. This thing doesn't have audio OOTB. This should be a Steam Deck hood classic, but Konami for some reason thinks its cool for people to scrounge around for DLLs like it's the year 2009. It also has really bad quirks like not having proper alt-tabbing behavior, not unless you mod it.

The PC Master collection is WAY too heavy for what it is. My PC has a 3080 & 7950X3d in it, but I'm getting really weird slowdowns in the game. Lost commonly, around the Tanker holds. This game is over twenty years old , it's a PS2 launch title... it's based off of a HD rerelease from 2010 on the PS3... like what's going on guys?

A fantastic release of this game and one of the most prophetic games you could have imagined. It is pretty far out there and has a level of gonzo story telling that would almost make you think it was a joke, but the longer we go, the more this game feels relevant. It also helps that it's a joy to play as you explore the structure and the new gameplay additions from the first are more than welcome. Would highly recommend you check this game out, though please play the first game before starting because it feels pretty necessary to understanding this game.
