Character animation and physics seem to have taken a few downgrades in the remaster
Take Asagi Hizuki for example, in the original Wii version her hair moved to reveal her face when she attacked you:

In the remaster her bangs just clip through her face and it looks like they added some black shadows to her face texture to hide it. In general, in the original hair and clothes seemed to move and flutter much more.

Also, the new character models have much stiffer faces and they aren't able to express as much emotion:

(The character is supposed to look terrified)

Everything took a hit, especially clothes. Just look at poor Ruka. Her design used to be so flowy when she jogged. It kinda felt like she was flying in a way.

Ruka also has that odd reverse necklace on the back of her neck that used to bob around and it's completely static in the remaster. It was clearly intended to complement FF4's over-the-shoulder camera.

It's weird that the default clothes are so stiff when many of the alternate ones have physics that are a lot more pronounced.

Super old topic here, but I found someone saying that if you limit the framerate to 30fps, the physics are fixed. I tried it for a bit, and it did seem to make a difference.
