Can we get VAC banned for using Large Address Aware (LAA)?

I have a fairly high-end PC, yet I experience memory crashes while playing the game. Even with all settings on low, crusade seems to eventually crash.

Can we play on secure servers while using LAA? All it does is allow the game to possess a higher memory cap, supposedly preventing memory-related crashes.

I doubt that, since it doesn't provide any advantage or mess with the game. However, I think it would be better to disable VAC on your server if that's possible, of course.

I heard about nobody who got VAC ban in this game.
