New Dark slows down movement?
Why is it that when i install the t2fix the game suddenly starts feeling wrong.

There is nothing different in the settings, but everything feels like you are on the moon. Jumping, walking and running feel terrible. Everything is slowed down.

I just wanted to make the gamma work on my computer.

Someone told me that the game is slower because new dark changes the game to have a set framerate. And that this slowed down version is how the game was originally

But I beat the entire thief 1 like that, and i like it like that. Do you know how to change the game brightness without changing the feel/framerate like that?

Well, you can try changing the next variables in your cam_ext.cfg (it's in your Thief 2 folder, if you have installed T2Fix):

vsync_mode
framerate_cap
phys_freq

I'm not sure if it will help you, I'm playing with framerate_cap 144 and phys_freq 60. Maybe you need to crank phys_freq up.

I don't have anything concrete to add other than I never experienced that and I've played the game a lot of times, both pre and post New Dark.
