Okay, so I'm playing the Tafferpatched version of Thief II (for Widescreen support) and I've read online that there is supposed to be a Collectable 'Cuckoo' for fixing a clock somewhere in the level 'Casing the Joint'. However, I cannot find it anywhere at all.

All the walkthroughs say it is in the Ballroom, but these are using the unpatched versions of the game where it only appears in that location, apparently the Tafferpatch makes the location random between the Ballroom, the Workshop or the Balcony (I'm convinced that last one is a flat out lie), yet it is nowhere to be found. And since you aren't allowed to knock out guards and the Cuckoo is VITAL for finishing this mission it makes the whole experience utterly frustrating.

Is there some other location where the Cuckoo can spawn? Is it bugged? Is this a problem only with the Tafferpatched version? I've tried restarting the mission multiple times yet it never seems to appear anywhere. Any idea what's going on?
