[SOLVED] Gamepad controls mixed up
Hi guys, I haven't played Dark Souls: PTD in quite some time but wanted to practice for DS3. So what I've noticed is all of my controls are jumbled up (Back is to parry, Start is to turn the camera to the right, Y is to tumble, etc). I'm using a Xbox360 PC controller and this has never happened to me before. I'm 1000% sure I haven't used any software to rebind my controls.

Do you have any ideas what I can do to fix this without reinstalling the game (and possibly losing my characters) ?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you!

Edit: So apparently this might be a hardware issue rather than a problem with the game.

Go to the start menu and search for device manger and it should come up. What you're looking for is most likely under the tab human interface device, right click on the option you want to disable ( in our case hid-compliant game controller) and there should be an option to disable it . After you disable it restart your computer, and, hopefully , the button mapping will return to normal.

Upon disabling the game controller as per the above steps, the controller is functioning as it should be.

Oh, and just for your reference, this is only Dark Souls: PTD being weird. I just booted DS2: SOTFS and it's running with it's default controls as they should be.
