Also, does anyone know if Dark Souls 1 has been on sale for consoles this year ?
Just think about it .. another 1000+ hrs to sink into a game !
Everyone's waiting for a sale to buy it, issue is Fromsoft isn't exactly in a bad place with money right now since both Bloodborne and DS3 sold very well on all accounts. So there's no reason for them to pander to thirsty gamers and agree to a DS1 sale when the game's well worth its full price.
Miyazaki's words about producing Dark Souls content might not be entirely what the company is planning RIGHT NOW, but it makes me think we'll wait a couple of years for anything related to the franchise itself even if Fromsoft is bound to pump out a soulslike sooner rather than later.
Long story short, I have zero hype for the rumoured remake/remaster of DS. I will believe it when I see it, and I will be interested in buying it when I know the very few genuinely bad parts of DS1 have indeed been fixed/remade.
