You're not the only person capable of having a bad time from the actions of others. How annoyed do you think you are making other people if they are leaving? The "Quit Game" option is disabled during invasions, so they are actually crashing their game and losing all their progress rather than deal with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ invaders.

Go fight someone who wants a fight, and don't get all angry at people who walk away.

Its part of the game, just deal with your invader and move on. Dont be a ♥♥♥♥♥ and alt f4

It's also part of the game to close the window (in a way)...hence why you can do it.

In a way thats completely unintended, theres a reason the quit game option isnt usable when you get invaded, alt f4ing (completely shutting down the game) shouldnt be possible and its equivalent to shutting off ur computer as far as the game is concerned, obviously the intention was to not be able to leave the game once you've been invaded

Good point nonetheless.

I'm not a disconnecter (though I can't promise my net won't hiccup and kick me off randomly), but I'd be a lot keener about being invaded if most invaders I've met weren't newbie hunters with max ascended pyro flames tossing out pyromancies that are hard to avoid with any amount of latency. (I'm aware that latency can be compensated for but it takes a lot of PVPing to get used to and I'm just not interested in dedicated PVP in any game)

'Cause I mean, dying in one hit and having to go reclaim my souls isn't exactly what I'd consider an engaging encounter with an invader.

I mean, I've won against one of them, but that was more luck than skill.

yeah, fight righteously for your right to terrorize. It sure is part of the game, also that you can't kindle without open up, but insisting on it is lame af and just as "weiny"

You can play offline to kindle without getting invaded.

Yea, or play hollowed and suicide after kindle. Or equip homeward bones or soap stone and quit-reload whenever it gets greyed out.
You can also play online and invade people but make allowances when they disconnect since you also never know why or how.

Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ high? How is forcing the game to close a part of the game and how can you compare it to toggle escapes? Unplugging network cable is also part of the game? If you don't want to fight and you are invaded, you can always just run for the fog gate. If you die, you die. It's just another death - it doesn't matter if you die to some npc or a real player.
