Any chance for a GoG release?
I've been eyeing this game for a while, but as always I'd much rather get this on GoG instead of Steam. Any chance this will eventually release over there as well?

Lots of baseless inferences from your end, especially when I don't even use Twitter or any other social media.

Also, it's not like Steam DRM ever prevented any game from being pirated. I simply prefer buying my games on GoG so I can archive the installer because I actually like owning my games instead of merely buying a license to use them.
would buy on gog

brother, you do not own any game, you literally cannot do anything with games besides installing/uninstalling/playing/modding. you cannot sell the games you "own". you get 0 profit with this. even if you dont want to "lose your access to the game" you always can pirate it, devs of ultrakill even said that its ok to pirate if you do not have a money or a way to access games otherwise

Agreed, putting up with that half assed GoG galaxy just to "archive" stuff is silly. Besides you'll be slaving away constantly re-archiving all patches for all games. lol
any news?

Arguing against having the installer is a very corporate drone response. Why do you care? Does it affect YOU if this person wants that or gets it? There are plenty of examples of how licenses are bad for the consumer. What's the issue that made you want to respond in such a "hurr durr" kind of way? Based on your example, you can sell an installer. Is it legal and should you? No, but you just speak as if it's impossible. Sell it to your younger sibling but letting them know you won't let them play unless they install it on their own device after doing x y and z to earn it. Honestly, it's a silly premise but the fact that you are just speaking as if it's a matter of fact is hilarious.

"Owning" the installer is a market that you should support. There are 0 downsides to the consumer at face value and the majority of the population is going to purchase instead of pirate.

Try again bro

I wouldn't waste my breath. If they don't get it, they don't get it. Maybe they will one day when big corpo takes their games library away, shuts down their servers or game content is "updated" against their wishes in some random patch.

Dumbest argument ever... IF the game is any good it will get remakes and remasters every few years. Y'all will just buy the new version for your new system. Unless you're the freak that would rather play the "original" because of some pride argument and because they "archived it".

If putting a game on sale on GoG was a financial death sentence because of piracy, no one would put any game on sale on it and the platform would be long dead. Unless you assume all the developers who trust GoG are idiots or complicits in some kind of scheme.

And I don't see how having your games safe on your computer is a worse deal than depending on an online service that won't be maintained in perpetuity and thus eventually losing everything you spent your money on.
Guys here seem to know a lot about piracy
