Love the game and completed it yesterday but there are some issues that make my experience worse

I want upgrade selection because I'm stuck with pistol LVL3 after completing the game and can't go back to LVL2 when replaying levels, even when I first unlocked LVL3 wariant I had to reload the game to get the LVL2 back since LVL3 debuffs damage without telling you.

It would be really nice if we could just select weapons, I'm saying this because I have mastered the pistol way before getting used to other weapons, I only played on Insane difficulty so for the first hour I couldn't have weapons for long and died a lot, I don't need or want them, this change wouldn't mean anything for me at this point but the game needs it imo.
