tbh the game looks great but i was hopeing for a more grounded game like mount and blade not a game like orcs must die. atleast i know what this game is going to be like now. thank you for the video.

Oh? Hold on, they DID put up one of the Discord videos... in General Discussions, with no fanfare. Not visible from the main Steam page. ...And when I go around, I've yet to stumble across any comments that explains WHY they are this reluctant to post it to the Steam store, where they'll be selling the blasted game. What, do I need to do a deep dive on the bloody DISCORD for it? Is it even explained there, either? I hope that this gamble works out for them, but by god, if it doesn't, they only have themselves to blame. It will probably help to prioritize 'elite' units when there are a sea of enemies coming at you.

These are tiny WIP updates. They aren't a big deal. We are going to release some bigger media in a few weeks.

I read some place else they are having to ask the money men for permission to release the game. So its just to a 3rd party when the game is released. Now maybe i misread it but i took it the devs have limited control over when the game is released and cant tell us until they are given permission to do so. I believe they are releasing the videos to create hype around the game to help talk the money men into allowing them to release the game. I could be completely wrong but thats what i think so going on here based on the limited information that they are allowed to put out.

That is not accurate. We work with tinybuild to coordinate marketing and work together to make the best decisions for Kingmakers, but they have never forced us to do anything or not do anything. They have been great partners to work with.

They aren't forcing us to delay or release the game.
