Managed to play coop - some thoughts
I jumped on for a quick game last night and found someone waiting to play so joined them.

For me:
-The guy was a much higher level than me. I sort of felt like i was cheating because he carried me through the third boss which i was slowly grinding my way towards. For me i personally don't like to cheese stuff like that (as a big part of the game is progression) so i ended up leaving the game. Would be nice if there was an option to have your coop or solo progression seperated perhaps. I know that might not be popular. I'll stay away from coop now until i have beaten the game solo just because i want to do the work myself the first time.

-Between rounds needs a timer. When we were picking cards it felt like a timer was needed when you play coop so that you aren't stuck waiting forever.

-Pausing or checking stats seems to pause the game for everyone? Would be nice if during mutliplayer the game kept running in the background. I felt like i was disrupting the other players game by having it pause while i checked out stats.

- Thing with the progression is that some people just want to unlock stuff together. So for those players it makes sense. In your case obviously not so much. If there would be more players at once looking for a match you would at least get matched with the one closest to your own level, but that doesn't help with just a few people looking for random coop partners.

- Timer is something we could add, even though it kinda kills the relaxing aspect of the game. But I guess it's something we could also make configurable for the matches.

- That has a technical reason actually, because what would happen if the wave ends while you have some other screen open? It would need to close it to open e.g. the upgrade screen or start some cutscene or whatever. A lot that can go wrong there, so we decided to just always pause in that case.
