Fantastic game, highly underrated.

I'm still playing it, so I can't really give a full review yet.
However after 10~ hours in the game and finishing the first chapter (look, I took my sweet time alright?) I can say that the game still holds up!

The beginning is pretty straight forward, the story then becomes more complex as the game goes on. It ends up with a somewhat deep though not THAT unpredictable (it does have it's moments though) story that isn't overwhelming in the beginning.
It gives new questions and answers as things go on, without making you feel like you're stuck with useless information or being boring.

You also get to learn about the story from multiple points of view which then allows you to change what you can do with certain characters (albeit in a very obviously scripted way but hey, it's there!).

For 19,99€, if you're into horror/spooky stories and if you like or want to give a try to visual novels... this is for you!

PARANORMASIGHT is a fun horrorlite/mystery visual novel with a great cast and stellar presentation. It's not a perfect game, but I think what it does well is enough to make up for the few problems that I did have with it.

It's not super long (probably around like 10ish hrs if you're playing normally), and it feels reasonably priced. It all feels rather tightly written, and it's something I'd recommend to people who enjoy this genre and don't mind a mostly linear story.

I will say, though - I described it as "horrorlite" because while there are a few jumpscares and spooky segments, majority of the game is a lot more focused on the overarching mystery and isn't that scary. So, if you're primarily here for the gore and horror -- this might not be the game for that. Despite this, I think the overall atmosphere of the game is great, and it does a great job of getting the player to care about most of its characters. Honestly, I almost wish there was more of this game.
