If you have the Fruit (the right amount of both) then you just go to the stove at her house and you should be able to just cook it. No upgrading required.

I have the same problem. The quest Dinner for the Kids is completed and look for Granny is still open but cannot be completed.

I have the fruit. but the cooking station doesn't work. I have everything I need, but nothing happens.

I have made the food a couple of times but can't place it on the table.

In case anyone is still stuck on putting the food on the table, you do it with the swirler thing - the same button you use to put items on things to repair with (LT on controller)

The game having the wrong glyphs showing constantly is not helping...

Also had this same bug just now, and reported it using the in-game feedback feature.
I cooked the Zanana-Curry 2x for the Dinner with the kids quest, and put it on the table, and talked to Granny, still wasn't completed.
Completely halted my progress and will not purchase the game because of this bug.

Ah, I also responded in another thread, but thank you for using the in-game feedback feature as well. That way, we should probably have a screenshot attached to the report and can take a closer look at what's up there.
