In German the show is called "Balu und seine tollkühne Crew" "Balu and his daredevil crew". That's what popped in my head when I saw the Trailer. :) Take my money 🤑

Whatever inspired them it is an absolute awesome setting with seaplanes. Probably going to instabuy on release.
