Game won't start, it's a black screen
Every time I open it, it is only a black screen. I'd like to know how I can fix it and play. I was able to play it once but now it no-longer works. I tried verifying the files twice and uninstalled an reinstalled twice. I can only get off the game after alt tabbing to steam or task manager. :steamsad:

Do you have more than one monitor? There are a number of posts here from people with multiple monitors that had similar problems. This game just does not seem to handle that. The OP in the topic below said that the game worked after they turned off their extra monitors (and enabled V-Sync).

I only got my laptop screen no other monitors

The game may be using a default resolution that your monitor doesn't support. There are some posts here, like the one below, with instructions for editing the configuration file for the game and manually setting the resolution.
