CRASHING
The game keeps crashing on me in the first level and I wanna fix it.

I would start by having Steam verify the game files, just in case some are corrupted.

If that doesn't help, make sure that V-Sync is on. Playing this game without V-Sync can cause problems. The problems are usually less severe, but I think turning on V-Sync has fixed crashes for some. There's more about it in the post below:
