A Daring Rescue Red Power Brick Bug

Hey guys I'm doing chapter 4 Penguin level on the villain side and I get to the part where you have to get the red power brick. when I use the robin tech suit on the panel nothing happens. This is the one in the police bathroom where use the sonic suit to destroy the water cooler and build a cannon that destroys the mirrors. then use strength character to move the platform and then use the robin tech suit to raise the platform so you can glide to get there power brick. What is going one?

I played through the game years ago, so I couldn't remember how that part worked. So I played through it today, and ran into the same problem. Robin just kept pushing buttons and nothing happened. It was even more confusing when the platform actually moved up a little at one point, but then stopped, like it was stuck. It seemed like something had somehow broken in the game (although I couldn't see how).

But then I found a post on the Web that's literally from 16 years ago (September, 2008) with the answer. You have to push up on the left stick to make the platform go up. I'd completely forgotten that after all these years. So when it moved up that one time, I must have bumped the stick, and probably didn't even realize it. It is kind of weird, because I think you usually just use a panel and something happens, but not in this case.
