Is it possible to play/connect a ps5 controller?

im trying to connect my ps4 controller, tried ds4windows too, no luck yet

i use a wired USB XBOX controller that works great. just plug in and go. and yes im a proud PS5 owner

Inside Steam before playing, on the right there is an option that says "joystick compatibility", press "view controller settings" and activate "steam input". You can play with any wired or wireless joystick, I already tried with PS4 and PS5 joysticks and they work correctly.
