Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Single Player

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Single Player

Game crashes when chasing the ghoul on mission 3
dunno if ubisoft still looks at this, but after the level loads and you continue to chase the crystal and you climb across wooden scaffolding then you enter a castle and then when you walk down the stairs it does the normal source engine mid mission load then it crashes.

Anyone got a solution? i've tried the modified x64 mm.exe file, i've tried adding my resolution and intro vid skip to the launch options. i've also tried with and without mods it still crashes without any error.

What mods were you using? Is your OS Windows 11 by any chance?

I'm pretty sure configs can be simply dropped into the mm->cfg folder, then you can use +exec yourconfigname.cfg in the launch options. But if you want to create a mod, here's what you can do:

1. Copy test_mod and rename it to something else.
2. Copy the cfg root. So that would be content->cfg. Drop your .cfg file there.
3. Open your .json file, you can change the mod name there, but what you need to do is edit "launch_parameters". Add "+yourconfigname.cfg" inside the brackets.

And that should be it, be sure to check the launch options inside the Mod Launcher.
