i've seen side by side comparisons on youtube hard to judge how texture quality was improved to justify 35gb increase in game size because of yt compression but i'd say i was disappointed mostly because of how overasturated and "orangy" the remake looked compared to the original , og crysis 1 and the remaster suffers from the same thing they really had to apply fortnite color tone filter on them and call it a remaster

what on earth do you mean fortnite filter its not cartoony all they did was add 8k textures on the exosuit and other things and inject color making it look like a sunny day instead of cloudy while the original went for gloomy

yea its funny, even c3 remastered is around 17 gigs

Because they didn't need to upgrade C3's assets and textures much at all.

The answer is that Crysis 2 is the largest of the 3 games with the most varied assets and most complex levels, thus it has the most total assets that needed to be overhauled and upscaled. It simply has more stuff than Crysis 3 and 1.

Crysis 3 didn't grow because they didn't upscale the textures on it, just added some RT basically.
