Softlock in Act II "Proving Grounds"
So in Proving Grounds, there are 3 generators that you have to disable. You have one block to do it. You're supposed to be able to only get 2 of them, then have to go up to the top to get a second block. It turns out though, that if you use one of the launchers and place your doggo just a little big in front of the launcher, then it's very easy to launch the block straight into the generator hanging at the top.

L = Launcher
D = Doggo
X = Center of 4 Launchers

If you do this before you go up and get the other block at the top (which triggers a save), then the platform in the room behind the cubey thing won't unlock, even after you go and get the other block. You're basically softlocked and have to restart the level.

I did this through on my first run through, so definitely possible to do so. Not like game ruining or anything, but in case anyone searches for this, I figured I'd let them know they're not alone.

Hmmmm, it may have also been that the buttons were just not pushed all the way in the other cube room. Possibly not softlock. Will have to test further later.

Thanks. This just happened to me. I did use the doggo to help get one of the orbs. I've been trying to figure out why it won't unlock. I just replayed without using the doggo for the orbs, but now I realise what you said about the buttons. That must be it. Thanks.
