(AT THE TIME OF WRITING I HAVE NOT FINISHED THIS GAME YET. IT IS UNLIKELY THAT MY OPINION WILL CHANGE LATER)
started playing because fun rhythm game with ties to SRXD (my favorite rhythm game of all time), stuck around for the compelling story. overall the game is pretty good for how much you're paying for it (literally nothing).
gameplay-wise it doesn't pull any punches as early as Middle (Normal), kind of a wake-up call for me and i found myself struggling a lot. probably don't be stupid like me and start on lower difficulties.
story is great, no complaints. i adore the art style for the characters especially. the story is tryannically gripping and has kept me invested the entire way through so far, would recommend for the story alone being completely honest.
the only thing i don't like about this game is the puzzles, they're heinously cryptic and you're best off just looking at a guide. it's probably possible to figure everything out yourself but good luck. lategame (around chapters 4 and 5) also gets really rough on the sheer difficulty side, cannot imagine doing some of this without assist mode turned on (disables Challenge gauge for boss songs).
this game is easily worth 20 or 30 dollars and the developers ask for absolutely nothing besides a couple gigabytes of space. it's worth taking a peek at i'd say

It's genuinely amazing oh my god.
I've finished Chapter 2 so far.

The storyline is good right now, it kind of pulled me in when i accidentally finished a part of Chapter 1 and the entirety of Chapter 2 in one 3 hour session.
The charting is pretty good, it's hard to get used to the bumper mechanic but i did get used to them just a bit so far.
