NG+ is lock difiicult to Nightmare ( Knightmare in this game), it's not have counter icon for you.
You should evade rather than counter.
Thanks Guys.
without them i need to judge when to counter according to the movement of the enemies and it's a lot closer to how you defend yourself in real life - you watch for the movement of the enemy. you look at the person.
with the counter icons you no longer care for the design of the enemies, nor their really nice animations. you barely see enemies. all you see is a mess of figures running around and blue markers. all your eye and brain is trained to see is the effing blue markers. everything else is meaningless.
once the blue markers are gone, and after a small adjustment period, you get to actually look at the enemies models and how they move and animate. you pick up on different nuances in their animation to see when they are attacking and then you feel more like batman and more kickass since you obey rules that are slightly closer to how batman reacts and what it takes to be batman. not a gamer in a computer game.
Emmm ... why don't you just play a new game on hard - you'll have your counter icons
Btw. it's especially and surprisingly effective in the Deathstroke fight in Origins.
