That wraith chase sequence is way too hard
I imagine this will only be the first out of many so I'm not sure if I did anything wrong but I think this one was not fun at all.
The guy gets faster the faster you are, which is probably fine, but when you have to stop conjure that fireball for the torch and then jump upwards to get through the door he was on me everytime swinging that scythe and the window to escape is so small I often died here even when having a perfect run because the fire dash wouldn't activate in time after jumping up.

Totally agreed, the jump after lighting the torch is an absolute nightmare. It's especially bad because there doesn't seem to be any buffer window for the jump, so you have to know exactly when you're allowed to input the jump after the climbing animation or else nothing happens. And the rest of the chase leading up to that point is so forgiving, so I don't understand why that one jump is absurdly precise.

Honestly, it feels like it just wasn't playtested at all.

Thank you for your feedback. We wanted to add a vertical movement to the chase, but sadly because of the way we code it, it is a really nightmare if your momentum stops. We will fix the issue you mentioned, and make it more forgiving.

Also, the input delay within fire dash is the most common issue with the game at the moment. We will definitely work on that. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Although it is heartbreaking to have a negative first impression, it shows us we have lots of work to do for the game.
I personally disagree, as I did it on my third attempt, yes it's hard but not worth changing.

I think I did it on my twentieth attempt and for like 15 of them the fire dash wouldn't register because it was too early or too late or whatever. I can only imagine the later chase sequences with multiple of these jumps.
Apart from that I really liked the demo, if the controls get a bit more fluid it will be a great game.
