AC III Deluxe CD Key ERROR - I bought this game and now can't play it.
Hello

I cannot play a game I bought back in 2019 through Steam, even though I have played it before. When I switch over to Ubisoft Connect and put the CD Key in, it says, "you already own this game, go to steam to launch it" and on Steam it says, "By continuing, you will bind this game to your Ubisoft account", and I push "okay", then it says, "Invalid CD Key Error".

If there is a Ubisoft person here, please look and respond to my case, case # 20479603 on your own support page. I submitted it 2 weeks ago. I have all my valid purchases and CD key information in that case on your website, screenshots and everything.

Please do something to make this right; thank you.

They won't. You can try the instructions here (https://www.reddit.com/r/assassinscreed3/comments/1bpqmxs/assassins_creed_3_not_remastered_not_starting/?sort=new) or download an unofficial copy.
Thanks for your reply. It's too bad they don't want me to buy their games..

Hello, I'm sorry that you've had this issue with Assassin's Creed 3.

From your description, it seems to be an account related issue. The error you are receiving, it is probably caused by the fact that you're using the wrong Steam/Ubisoft account.

This can only be investigated by our email team. It seems that you have already contacted them however we are unable to provide an ETA for a reply.

We apologize for the wait and the inconvenience this may cause.

- Ubisoft Support
Ubisoft pretty much nuked the original version of AC 3 and I've tried to get support for the game from both Ubisoft and Steam but I only wasted my time.

However, there is a simple solution. Get Skidrow's crack for version 1.06 and overwrite original files and you'll be able to play Single Player Campaign and DLCs. As for Mutliplayer, unfortunately Ubisoft shut down multiplayer servers years ago.
