Need help with Assassin's Creed III?

Have you witnessed any bugs, has your game crashed or are you experiencing some performance issues with the game?

What are the system requirements for Assassin's Creed III on PC?

Supported OS: Windows Vista SP2 / Windows 7 SP1 / Windows 8 (32 and 64 bit)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 @ 2.66Ghz - AMD Athlon II X4 620 @ 2.6Ghz
RAM: 2 GB
Video Card: 512 VRAM DirectX 10 - Shader Model 4.0 or higher
Hard Disk: 17 GB or more
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible
DirectX: DirectX June 2010 or newer (libraries included on disc)
DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive
Peripherals: Mouse, keyboard, optional controller (see below), headset, 3D glasses
Supported gamepads: Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller, Razer Onza, Logitech F710, Logitech F510, Logitech F310, Saitek Cyborg P3600
Supported Video Cards: AMD Radeon™ HD 4850 / 5000 / 6000 / 7000 series

Running the game in Windows Compatibility Mode

As with some of our older titles that were released a few years ago for different Windows OS versions, you may need to run the game in Windows Compatibility mode if using a modern PC, to emulate the Windows OS that the game originally was released for.

To do this, first locate the games .exe game file -

Right click on the file and select the Properties option
Next, select the 'Compatibility' tab
Select the one of the older Windows OS - Windows Vista SP2 / Windows 7 SP1 / Windows 8
Select Apply
Select OK
Launch game by double clicking on the games .exe file

Please note, the game also uses the older versions of DirectX, DirectX 9 supporting software. Please make sure this version is installed in your games 'Support' installation folder, if you having any problems launching the game.
